Among a wealth of veggie recipes, we have many many choices. Today, we will introduce an Asian style main course, Cantonese Style Noodle with the Sauce of Garlic and Shallots. This noodle with the sauce of garlic and shallots is a dish about cantonese style noodle, which has a uniquely special flavour. It can be bought in the Asian supermarket. This is a vegetarian cuisine, instead of vegan dishes.
Ingredients (serves 1 person)
- Cantonese style noodle (thick) – 1 piece
- Shallot – 1 piece
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Soya sauce – 2 tablespoons
- Deep fried tofu – 4 pieces
Direction
- Boil some water. And blanch the dry noodle for 2 minutes. Afterwards, put aside.
- Mince garlic and shallot
- Slice deep fried tofu
- Boil water. Blanch deep fried tofu for 3 minutes in the boiling water. Prepare the noodle on a beautiful plate and put the deep fried tofu aside.
- Pour soya sauce into a bowl
- Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan. Add garlic and shallot into hot oil. Once the aroma is released, turn off the fire. Pour the heat oil with garlic and shallot into the soya sauce in the bowl.
- Finally, put the sauce on the top of the noodle and deep-fried tofu. It is ready to serve.
