Soy Sauce Lettuce

This soy sauce lettuce has a fresh taste with a hint of savoury flavour. Ingredients (serves 1-2 people)

  • Lettuce (Iceberg or similar) – 200g
  • Soy sauce – 4 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt – ½ teaspoon
  • Water – 800ml

Direction

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add vegetable oil.
  • Add the lettuce and cook on high heat for about 2 minutes, until the lettuce softens slightly. Remove and place it on a plate.
  • Pour the soy sauce over the lettuce and serve.
